Full and Nearly-Full Tuition Scholarships

The following information is supplied directly to high schools. Always review individual
college web sites for further scholarship programs that are available.

Schools Offering Scholarships for Full Tuition
  • Boston University – Trustee Scholarship; bu.edu/admissions/trustee
  • Duke/UNC Chapel Hill - Robertson Scholarship (must attend both schools over 4 years) – academies can nominate 2 students, but applicants cannot apply ED anywhere else
  • Fairleigh Dickinson (1300 (CR+M) SAT and 3.5+ GPA)
  • Ithaca College – Park School of Communications – Ithaca.edu/parkscholars
  • Ithaca College – Martin Luther King Scholars Program, minimum award of $25,000/year (traditionally underrepresented populations), http://www.ithaca.edu/mlk/
  • Marist College – http://www.marist.edu/admission/technologyscholarships
  • NJIT - Albert Dorman Honors College (scholarships from 50% to 100% of tuition, r+b, fees)
  • Rutgers (2250 SAT and “A” GPA required minimum requirements)
  • Union College (1820 combined SAT and 3.5+ GPA)
  • St. Peter’s University (1350 (CR+M) and a 4.0 GPA)
  • Stetson University (FL) (J. Ollie Edmunds Distinguished Scholarship, CR+M 1350, ACT 30, gpa 3.5)
  • Tulane University
  • University of Virginia (Jefferson Scholarship; only one student may be nominated per high school)
  • US Air Force Academy (CO)
  • US Coast Guard Academy (CT)
  • US Military Academy (NY)
  • US Naval Academy (MD)
  • Villanova University (PA) - Presidential Scholarship; applicants must be nominated
  • Washington & Lee University – Johnson Scholarship (n=40, or ten percent of incoming class)
  • W&L Promise (free tuition to admitted students with family income below $75,000)

  • Washington University in St. Louis – Danforth Scholars Program (students must be nominated by mid-October); visit WUSL web site for details; see counselor well in advance of deadline
